Ingredients for making cassava cake:

 800 grams of cassava/cassava/cassava

 500 milliliters of coconut milk

 300 grams of sugar

200 grams of grated coconut (2½ cups)

 150 grams of softened butter

 3 egg units

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

How to make cassava cake:

The first step of this cassava cake recipe is to peel the cassava/cassava/cassava and remove the thread that is in the middle. Then grate (preferably in a fine grater) and wring out with a cloth to dry well.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one and beat again very well.

Now add the cassava, grated coconut and coconut milk to the bowl. Beat again until the dough is smooth and finally add the yeast, stirring to mix.

Transfer the contents of the bowl to a greased and floured cake tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 40 minutes.

Once your cassava cake is ready, remove from the oven and wait for it to cool to unmold. Serve immediately with guava jelly, and good appetite!
